Purpose of the position

The Satisloh Group operates their business processes in ERP SAP ECC6.0 with global and local master data. To ensure that the quality of this master data is according to the requirements set in a global reference guide together with specific work instructions, a Global Material Master Data Team (GMMDT) is required. They will structure, control and monitor all tasks related to the setup of materials and the maintenance of the material master data together with the Regional Material Master Data Teams (RMMDTs) and business users if necessary. 

Work task and Key Responsibilities

• Check basic data and coordinate required adjustments (incl. attachments for e.g. webshop) 
• Monitor the adherence of the Regional Material Master Data Teams (RMMDTs) to the defined material creation process using SAP workflows. 
• Intervene in case of deviations or technical interruptions regarding the set-up of master data. 
• Regular quality checks of material master data with an SAP tool (tbd which tool) using deviation rules and measures in SAP and coordination of necessary adjustments with RMMDTs.
• Check for material duplicates and decide validity of each material number together with the business. 
• Periodically check compliance with the SL text convention. 
• Support SAP Team with implementation of new fields including updates of documentation, tests and mass changes. 

Education and experiences

• Advanced SAP knowledge. 3-5 years of SAP work experience.  
• Associate degree with 3-5 years of experience in IT or business administration. 
• Experience and skills in process design. 
• Fluent in English and Mandarin 
• Proficient in MS Excel.
