Operations Supervisor

Join our Brisbane Fitting Lab, where precision matters. We specialise in edging and fitting optical lenses into frames to ensure every customer receives high-quality glasses. We’re seeking an Optical Operations Supervisor to lead our production operations, manage the team, and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all processes.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the daily activities of the production team in our Brisbane lab.
• Ensure timely production and manage work-in-progress (WIP).
• Analyze quality metrics and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Oversee domestic logistics and inventory management.

About you 

• Experience: Proven experience in a production setting with a hands-on approach.
• Leadership: Prior leadership experience is essential.
• Optical Expertise: Qualifications as an Optical Mechanic, Optical Dispenser, or equivalent experience in optical fitting is highly desired.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze quality and recommend process improvements.
• Collaboration: Experience working alongside EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
