For our recent Fulfilment Centre in the centre of the Netherlands, in Wijchen we are looking for a teamleader which is leading the team of 6 FTE in the warehouse (in- and outbound activities).  As the Logistics Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day in- and outbound logistics activities within our Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of products, meeting and exceeding customer and B2B partner expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team (up to 15 employees) to ensure smooth and efficient operations. In your team you will have 2 trainers which will support you in this matter.

  • Coordinate and oversee the in- or outbound activities.

    • Outbound = picking, packing, labeling, and shipping of orders according to established procedures and quality guidelines.

    • Inbound = goods receiving, cart filling, putaway, stock control, cycle counting.

  • Monitor order accuracy, proper packaging, and timely shipment to meet customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory management, In- or outbound, and customer service, to ensure a seamless fulfillment process.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety awareness.

  • Continuously assess and improve in- and outbound processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

  • Creation work instructions and train based upon workinstructions in order to ensure the mandatory quality level.

  • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to team members, addressing any issues or training needs.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), striving to achieve and exceed set targets. When issues occur in system a proactive role is expected where ownership is taken to take the neccesairly actions.

  • Resolve any operational challenges or exceptions that arise during operations, together with shift leader / engineering team.

  • Report to the Shift Manager / Logistic Coordinator and contribute to operational planning and strategy.

  • Be key-user of the multiple WMS system in the warehouse needed to perform the logistical activities.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes, shipping software, and inventory management systems (SAP preferable)

  • Leadership experience

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal ability

  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines, this in combination with company closures (and integrations to the FC BENE warehouse)

  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Preferably Dutch as well.
