Job Overview:
 
We are looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist responsible for planning and executing B2B and B2C marketing activities with a strong focus on trade marketing and in‑store brand visibility. The role includes working with optical clients to implement marketing strategies, coordinating visual merchandising projects, managing POS materials, and creating/adapting marketing content.

You will analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, collaborate closely with internal sales team and external clients as well as agencies, and support cross‑market projects within central brand guidelines. The position also involves participation in digitalization and new technology projects within the optical industry, including the introduction of innovative products such as Ray-Ban Meta - eyewear powered by artificial intelligence.
 
 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing marketing activities in the local market (B2B and B2C), with a strong focus on trade marketing and in-store brand visibility
  • Collaborating with selected clients (independent optical stores, optical chains) to implement marketing strategies and new product categories
  • Planning visual merchandising projects aligned with central guidelines, with a strong emphasis on innovative solutions
  • Managing orders for POS materials produced centrally and locally
  • Creating and adapting marketing content (seasonal campaign graphics for selected brands in shop windows and small trade marketing materials enhancing brand visibility in optical stores)
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities and recommending improvements
  • Collaborating with internal departments (sales, product, training) and external agencies (creative, production)
  • Working with the regional team and other markets within central guidelines regarding brand marketing materials, knowledge exchange, and preparation of analyses and reports for the headquarters (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Participating in projects related to digitalization and new technologies in the optical industry

Our requirements:

 

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, or category management in the fashion/lifestyle/optical/electronics sector
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and manage projects in a B2B environment
  • Excellent analytical skills (trade activity reporting)
  • Strong organizational skills, independence, and proactiveness
  • Creativity and the ability to develop engaging marketing content
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of data analysis or digital marketing tools is a plus
  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written (mandatory)
  • Out-of-the-box thinking, openness to new technologies and innovations in the optical category
