This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to learn and work for a global leader driving the transformation of the eyecare and eyewear industry. You will be working closely with the Regional PR manager to drive public relations and consumer brand initiatives to support the growth of EssilorLuxottica’s house and license brand portfolio for Southeast Asia and Korea, with Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia as priority, and other markets in the region, as needed.

Responsibilities

Work closely with key functions such as Marketing and Business Brand teams to achieve PR and branding objectives. This will include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders based in Singapore and in Corporate offices (Milan/Paris) to facilitate the review and approval of initiatives.

Lead integrated communication strategies to build brand awareness, affinity, and engagement by utilising a wide set of tools, including but not limited to organic and paid media platforms, social media content marketing, influencer and celebrity management, brand storytelling etc.

Customise global strategies and campaigns to align closer with local business needs and market landscape, sharing insights with global teams to prioritise market needs.

Media and Influencer Marketing - Liaise with media, influencers, celebrities with the support of agencies. Maintain and update media lists and influencer communities for brands and markets.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and consumer fashion and lifestyle media to secure earned media coverage consistently.

Draft and edit press releases, media alerts and copywriting marketing communications materials, as necessary

Content development and Copywriting - Edit and occasionally draft a range of content such as press releases, social media copy, media invitations etc.

Events management – Manage local PR events in conjunction with product/brand/collection launches. Provide media outreach support and coordinate logistics with external vendors and agencies.

Day-to-day management of PR agencies in markets, ensuring deliverables are achieved to high standards.

Set clear briefs and challenge agencies to think out of the box and optimize efficiency and costs in delivering results.

Ensure that monitoring and reporting of PR metrics and results are done accurately to demonstrate ROI and effectiveness of plans.

Monitor and track PR budgets systematically to ensure efficient and timely use of resources.

Samples and inventory management – track and manage eyewear samples, helping to facilitate the timely ordering and shipment of samples to markets.
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years in Communications/Public Relations and/or Marketing/Branding roles, with a tertiary or graduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or related disciplines. Candidates with fewer years of experience but a proven track record may also be considered.

Background in luxury, fashion, or FMCG industries with a strong track record in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications. Demonstrates keen interest in the fashion, luxury, and lifestyle sector and stays updated on media and consumer trends.

Experience in the eyewear/eyecare industry or in PR, influencer marketing, or creative agencies is a bonus.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing global PR campaigns or events and localizing them effectively for market needs.

Has worked with influencers and talents with a strong understanding of the social media ecosystem (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), along with exposure to general marketing, social media, and digital marketing.

Experienced in cross‑cultural collaboration across multiple markets and capable of acting as a central coordination point between business teams, marketing and HQ.

Possesses a global mindset and cultural sensitivity to communicate and collaborate effectively with regional and global teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑moving environment.

Self-starter with strong problem‑solving abilities and proactive in anticipating challenges.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), and basic knowledge of using Adobe Suite and design applications is an advantage.
