Your role

 

As Oakley AFA Marketing & Commercial Asst. Manager, SEAK (Southeast Asia & Korea), you will be part of the Regional Marketing team, playing a key role in driving business growth, ensuring effective go-to-market (GTM) execution, and aligning regional strategies with global directives.

 

Main responsibilities:

AFA Strategy

  • Help to develop and implement SEAK AFA strategy that integrates local consumer insights, market trends, and country-specific dynamics while aligning with global/regional directives.
  • Serve as a local expert, embedding SEAK specific opportunities, consumer insights, and trends into global strategies

 

Business Development & Projects

  • Identify and drive growth opportunities in collaboration with local markets
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives aligned with SEAK priorities and business growth initiatives

 

Sell-in and demand planning

  • Recommend seasonal range selection for SEAK across countries based on the insights from analytics team and global/regional assortment availability
  • Partner with local teams to define seasonal business planning targets (Net Sales, Volumes) and drive the alignments across departments
  • Help to oversee demanding planning
  • Support commercial team by driving sell-in processes, focusing on key partners
  • Track sell-In and sell-through performance for key markets / partners

 

Communication & GTM Execution

  • Create seasonal GTM plans aligned with growth goals and market specifics. Download plans to local teams
  • Oversee GTM plans executions across SEAK markets
  • Coordinate comms assets management to make sure all needs of the markets are covered
  • Initiate and leadership additional assets creation in case of specific market’s needs.

 

Main requirements:

 

  • 5+ years in apparel Marketing and/or Commercial roles
  • Experience in the sport apparel industry with proven success in growing apparel categories
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing & sales strategies
  • Strong analytical and business acumen
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Understanding of sports apparel trends and retail landscape in SEAK  
  • Fluency in English
  • Good command of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
