As a field leader you will be responsible to lead all the stores in the Country to success by developing a high performing team which consistently exceeds expectations and achieves sales, profitability and business growth. This position is responsible for developing key initiatives to increase service and value of the retail operation. You will role model the company culture to bring to life for all field team.

 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Actively scout the market and liaise with landlords and local partners to identify business development opportunities.
  • Direct and monitor all sales operations activities of the Country to ensure sales and profit targets are achieved.
  • Actively manage all budgeted cost.
  • Prepare adequate reporting and business reviews for internal management as well as present in the regular meetings.
  • Continuously improve organization structure according to business needs and Sunglass Hut business plans.
  • Define/ improve processes that drive real customer value.
  • Recruit, lead, monitor and inspire the team to succeed in store as well as support them in developing their careers.
  • Suggest, implement, drive staff incentive programs.
  • Partner with the regional functions to ensure all the regional plans and strategies are defined and implemented according to local business needs.
  • Continuously drive the business by analyzing financial data, monitoring operating efficiencies and identifying business trends and opportunities.
  • Create an environment that encourages the development of managers and associates; provide challenging assignments and opportunities for development

 

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Business or related studies. Minimum 8yrs experience in management role with at least 5yrs in leadership position in in retail business.
  • Proven ability to lead cross functional teams, develop talent and influence stakeholders at all level.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex commercial projects with cross functional teams, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong strategic and business development mindset to grow business.
  • Experience from direct industry are highly welcomed.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to manage P&L for the banner.
  • Experience to work well in a fast-paced environment
