The ANZ Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for managing EssilorLuxottica's transportation operations, including assessing processes and systems to pinpoint areas for enhancement. They will devise and execute creative and budget-friendly strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to standards while maintaining service quality. This role involves conducting thorough logistical analyses, utilizing data insights to propose effective strategies, and presenting findings to relevant parties. Collaboration across departments will be key, as will leveraging historical data to inform future plans.

Your responsibilities
- Capture and manage transport logistics and service requirements across ANZ and APAC.
- Monitor carrier performance, lead root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement plans.
- Coordinate escalations with APAC transport teams and carriers to resolve service issues quickly.
- Manage inbound and outbound freight, including bookings, international shipping, and documentation.
- Oversee transport invoices, approvals, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Lead supply chain projects and stakeholder engagement to improve service, visibility, speed, and cost efficiency.
About you
- Demonstrated capability to independently execute detailed action plans aligned with overarching objectives
- Proficient understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations
- Adherence to procedures with precision and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite- Intermediate- Advanced Excel
- Exceptional communication with a range of internal & external stakeholders
- The role will be located in Sydney with potential travel within the region to our laboratories & Fulfilment Centre
