Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic, multi-skilled team at the Essilor Technology Centre in Silverwater on a Permanent Full-Time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly, ensuring high-quality products reach customers efficiently and on time.

From coordinating supplier deliveries and supporting procurement activities to maintaining accurate inventory data and tracking purchase orders, your contribution will directly support our mission of helping people experience the world with clearer vision and greater confidence.

Your responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to coordinate inbound shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the timely receipt of goods.
• Support procurement cost-control initiatives through supplier benchmarking, performance analysis, and negotiation assistance.
• Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and variance analyses to maintain data accuracy across systems.
• Utilise Excel and in-house software to monitor inventory levels and ensure targets and KPIs are consistently met.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order picking, to ensure efficient and accurate product handling

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role within logistics, dispatch, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel with the ability to analyse data for accurate stock monitoring and reporting.
• Plan, coordinate, and process purchase orders while ensuring timely follow-up and completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
