JOB DESCRIPTION

 
Your role 
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Go-to-Market Senior Manager to lead the pre-launch channel analysis and market entry strategy for the Greater China region. You will be the "tip of the spear," bridging global innovation with local market realities. Your mission is to analyze the complex distribution landscape across GC, and build the go-to-market blueprint that ensures a flawless launch.

Main responsibilities: 
•    Strategic Channel Analysis & Go-to-Market Planning
•    Market Segmentation: Conduct a deep-dive analysis of the Greater China market to identify and prioritize the most effective channels for new product (e.g., optical retail chains, hearing aid clinics, premium department stores, hospital channels, digital D2C). And other wearable products in future.
•    Distribution Strategy: Define the ideal distribution mix for new product. Analyze the competitive landscape, including existing hearing aid providers and high-end audio brands entering the space.
•    Partner Identification: Identify potential strategic partners (distributors, retailers, audiologists) in Great China who align with the brand's premium positioning.
•    Cross-Functional & Alignment
•    Bridge Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the Global team and the Local Commercial/Marketing teams. Translate global product strategies into actionable local plans and communicate local market back to the global team.
•    Localization: Adapt global marketing assets, product messaging, and sales toolkits to resonate with Chinese consumers, ensuring cultural relevance and regulatory compliance.
•    Pilot Planning: Collaborate with global to design and execute pilot programs in select key cities to test the concept and gather consumer insights pre-launch.
•    Commercial Readiness & Launch Execution
•    Sales Enablement: Develop training materials and conduct workshops for local sales teams and retail partners to ensure they understand the "phygital" nature of the product (blending eyewear fashion with hearing health technology).
•    Regulatory & Compliance: Work closely with local Regulatory Affairs to navigate the medical device classification for new product (if applicable) , ensuring all channel partners are compliant.
•    Forecasting: Support the local finance team in building the sales forecast 
Main requirements:
•    Experience: 10+ years of experience in Go-to-Market or Channel Development within Consumer Electronics, Medical Devices (Hearing/Healthcare), or Premium/Luxury Eyewear.
•    Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Greater China retail landscape. Experience launching "new-to-world" products or categories is a strong plus.
•    Bilingual: Native proficiency in Mandarin and fluent business English (mandatory for global reporting). 
•    Strategic Agility: Proven ability to analyze complex market data (Nielsen, Kantar, or internal sales data) to identify white space opportunities.
•    Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of managing senior stakeholders in a matrix organization.
