Your role
Ensure efficient and effective inventory management to support uninterrupted production and timely delivery of medical devices.
Optimize supply chain flow by balancing inventory levels, lead times, and production schedules.
Main responsibilities:
Inventory planning and control :
- Develop and maintain inventory replenishment strategies based on production schedules and lead times.
- Monitor stock levels, identifying shortages or excesses, and take corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries.
- Implement just-in-time (JIT) principles to minimize excess inventory.
- Track inventory performance metrics such as turnover ratio, days-on-hand, and stockouts.
- Implement safety stock policies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
KPI Management :
- Inventory Value: Monitor and manage inventory value to align with financial targets.
- Inventory Levels: Maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.
- Service Level: Ensure high service levels by meeting demand needs promptly.
- Flow Efficiency: Continuously improve supply chain flow to reduce lead times and enhance responsiveness.
Main requirements:
- Proven work experience as inventory planner Specialist or in a similar role. Experience in a medical device industry will be a plus.
- Solid understanding of inventories strategies and supply chain management.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is necessary.
- 0-5 years experience in Inventory planning functions from multi-national company or equivalent.
- Experience in Spectacles, medical devices industry would be a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business applications. Experience with any ERP is a must (such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex supply chain scenarios and propose effective solutions.
- Attention to detail: Essential for accurate inventory tracking and optimization.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics.
- Effective communication skills to convey inventory status, risks, and opportunities.
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Time management skills: Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Language Requirements:
French: Fluent / Good professional level
English: Fluent / Good professional level
Other Languages: would be a plus
