Your role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled R&D Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the developement of innovative solutions within our R&D department.

The ideal candidate has strong technical foundations and market aptitude for problem solving with experience in mechanical design and prototype development.

 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Development of technical drawing packages for assemblies, in compliance with
    manufacturing flows and production specifications.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and
    other stakeholders) for product design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Analysis and identification of underlying principles to optimize design processes and reduce
    development time.
  •  Assessment of client needs through active listening and critical thinking, translating them
    into concrete technical solutions.

 

Main requirements: 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in developing drawing packages for assemblies in line with
    manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD systems, with priority given to Autodesk Inventor.
  • Competence in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
  • Good knowledge of English, both writen and spoken.
  • Excellent active listening, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Specific knowledge of vacuum equipment and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) processes,
    including related standards and regulations.
  • Experience in automation and robotics.
  • Familiarity with other CAD software such as Creo and SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of the SAP system and Windchill PLM.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsot Office Suite.
