Key Responsibilities

1) Accounting Governance & Compliance 

• Local GAAP / IFRS interpretation
• Accounting policies & posting rules
• Accrual logic, reserve logic ownership
• Chart of accounts / mapping governance
• GBS accounting issue escalation point

 2) Balance Sheet Ownership

• Inventory accounting validation (periodic method)
• Fixed Asset accounting 
• Provisions and reserves oversight 
• BS reconciliation governance 

3) Tax Governance

• Corporate Income Tax Governance
• VAT governance 
• Local tax policy governance
• Transfer Pricing / CbCR / CFC compliance

4) External Audit

• FS reconciliation governance (HFM vs statutory FS)
• GAAP adjustments validation
• Auditor Q&A coordination
• Representation Letter review
• Tax / BS / Inventory / Fixed Asset audit oversight

5) FP&A Support

• OPEX variance tracking and analysis
• Accounting-based explanation for P&L movement
• OPEX budget preparation

Requirements
​

• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Solid external audit experience (statutory audit cycle)
• Experience in multinational companies
• Hands-on experience working with GBS / shared service model
• Strong communication skills to explain accounting logic and risks clearly
• Proficiency in speaking & written English and Fluent in Korean
