Responsibilities:

1. Employee Lifecycle Management & HRBP Support

Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation, internal transfers, and offboarding.

• Support assigned business functions as a junior HRBP by providing day-to-day HR guidance under manager supervision.

• Partner with line managers to support employee lifecycle-related matters and ensure timely execution of HR processes.

• Coordinate onboarding programs and support new hire integration aligned with business needs.

• Assist with employee status changes and ensure accurate documentation and HRIS updates.

 

2. Employee Relations & Labor Compliance

Serve as a first-line contact for employee inquiries and basic employee relations matters.

• Support managers in handling routine employee relations cases, escalating complex issues as needed.

• Assist in disciplinary processes, investigations, and documentation in accordance with company policies and labor laws.

• Ensure compliance with Korean labor regulations in daily HR operations.

• Support labor audits, inspections, and reporting under the guidance of HR manager or Region HR/Legal

 

3. Performance Management & People Support

Support the annual performance management cycle including communication, system administration, and timeline tracking.

• Assist managers and employees in understanding performance processes, ratings, and documentation requirements.

• Support talent review and succession planning activities by preparing data, materials, and reports.

• Provide operational support for people-related decisions through data and policy guidance.

 

4. HR Policy, Governance & Advisory Support

Assist in reviewing, updating, and implementing HR policies and guidelines in line with regional and global standards.

• Support communication of HR policies to employees and managers and ensure consistent application.

• Act as a policy reference point for managers on standard HR topics, escalating exceptions appropriately.

 

5. HR Projects, Data & Stakeholder Collaboration

Participate in global and local HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, culture programs, and organizational changes.

• Support change management initiatives by preparing communication materials and tracking actions.

• Prepare HR data, reports, and basic analysis to support HRBP and management discussions.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support HR programs and projects.

 

Requirements:

1. Communication & Business Partnership

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.

• Ability to interact professionally with employees and managers across functions.

• Willingness to develop HRBP capability and business understanding.

 

2. HR Knowledge & Expertise

Solid understanding of HR generalist functions including employee lifecycle, employee relations, and performance management.

• Working knowledge of Korean labor law and its application in HR operations.

• Exposure to HRBP or business-facing HR roles is a plus.

 

3. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to analyze people-related issues and support data-driven decision-making.

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-up skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

 

4. Systems & Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Experience using HRIS systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience is preferred.

 

5. Work Style & Professionalism

Service-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

 

Professional requirements

Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on HR experience

• Experience in a multinational or matrix organization is preferred

• Interest in developing an HRBP career path

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

• High level of confidentiality and ethical standards
