The Production Engineer has a key role in the production team of the painting department. Drive the production to meet the goals in terms of Quality, Cost, Production efficiency and delivery. Including monitoring, Analyzing, maintaining and continuous improvement. Operation control and maintenance of the automated painting machine to ensure that the best performance and reduce the machine downtime.
My day at EssilorLuxottica
- Responsible for the Painting process of the painting department.
- Machine set-up, trial and finetune the best condition for production of Painting line.
- Preparation of the SOP, WI, Check sheet, Form record and other document.
- Provide the manual for Painting machine check sheet, Preventive maintenance.
- Responsible for the painting process, quality documentation and relevant training.
- Support product and equipment and machines validations. Provide relevant information to carry out the proposed improvement. Participate in prototype and pilot production.
- Functional management and supervision for technicians or process trainers to achieve the technology and knowledge transfer.
- Coach and train production teams and Engineering team for technical knowledge. Provide information/training.
- Coordinate with production team for daily work arrangement and long-term performance improvement plan and work closely with the production team to achieve the OEE goals.
- Investigating current processes and equipment and implementing new solutions to ensure that the quality and efficiency objectives are maintained.
- Implement projects for the reduction and the continuous improvement of the Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety (QCDS).
- Provide analysis and reporting on the Machine performance of painting process.
- Painting machine spare parts control.
- Ensure compliance with company regulations, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, relevant safety legislation, and quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable requirements.
- Other as assignment.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering fields.
- Experience at least 3 years in Painting/ Coating or manufacturing process.
- Good command of English both written and spoken.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Auto Cad, Solid work).
- Have a good attitude, Logical, discipline, positive thinking, creativity and patience.
- Systematic thinking, good analytics, self-motivation and highly responsibility.
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work under pressure, team player, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in Painting machine operation and maintenance will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO/ SAP will be an advantage.
- Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
