Reporting to the NPI Manager, the NPI Planner main goal is to ensure top-class performances, managing all the processes needed to properly transfer from other geographies or to manufacture new frames (NPI) in Thailand.

You will play a key role in leading the analyses and contributing to the understanding of the technological / business drivers that guarantee top-class levels of service (i.e. punctuality, time to market). With the aim of meeting (when not exceeding) the business expectations, you will analytically approach daily problems with a positive attitude, always looking for effective and efficient solutions, deploying (when necessary) all the countermeasures needed to minimize potential negative outcomes (i.e. late arrival on the market).

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in all the technical / production meetings that help identifying the best solutions that support the business growth
• Updating the weekly plans for samples, special projects and main events (i.e. special releases)
• Identifying potential opportunities (i.e. double sourcing) to minimize business risk and / or to increase the service level
• Designing accessible reports to be shared with Procurement, Engineering, Technical Office and other relevant Entities.

In addition, you will be an active member of a Global network that aims at finding and deploying innovative solutions to boost service levels and to guarantee the adoption of Global best practices.

My day at EssilorLuxottica

• Daily follow up of the procurement plans, to guarantee the transfer of carry overs or the manufacturing of new products
• Work closely with Production, Procurement, Capacity and MPS to ensure optimum performance and daily output during validation and samples’ phases
• Prepare all the daily or weekly reports, in collaboration with the Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing teams, to align the organization and drive results
• Define and activate all the procedures needed to contain the risk of missing relevant deadlines
• Benchmark the Procurement / NPI practices with the other geographies and identify and put in place the best practices
• Comply with the local and group policies

Must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Economics or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in Planning, Procurement, Engineering or Product Development
• Thai speaking with very good English (both written and verbal)
• Good Interpersonal Skills with the right communication level including a very good English (both written and spoken)
• Solid IT skills and mastery of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

• Time management, project management
• Willing to travel (mainly to China) if required.
• Comfortable in working under pressure, with multiple and compelling deadlines
