Nice to know
Reporting to MPS Manager, the MPS Planner main goal is to ensure top-class performances through the definition and control of production plans that optimally meet customer requirements and manufacturing constraints. In addition, the MPS Planner will monitor material stock availability and line / machine capacity, supporting the MPS Manager in highlighting main production bottlenecks that could jeopardize either the saturation or the quality of the production plans. You are encouraged to act when KPIs don’t meet Essilor-Luxottica standards by partnering with Manufacturing and Procurement to troubleshoot issues and to determine corrective / preventive measures.
You will cooperate with several local departments including Production, Quality, Sourcing, and Controlling to work on production performance, process validations, S&OP activities, and mid- to long-term planning.
