This is a one-year contract position, with a strong possibility of extension – potentially even to a permanent role – depending on business needs.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated, organized and results-oriented Junior Economist to join our Finance Department Team. If you have experience in receivables management, payment reconciliation and customer relations, we invite you to apply!

Job scope:

As an Junior Economist, you will play a key role in supporting daily financial activities and ensuring an efficient and accurate financial flow. Through your activity, you will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of internal processes, relationships with partners, and the monitoring of financial indicators. Additionally, the role supports the monthly financial closings by performing specific activities assigned to the position and helps improve the overall efficiency of the company's accounting processes.

 Main Responsibilities and related activities

• Preparing specific activity reports at the end of the month
• Preparing monthly reports on specific customer receivables and sharing the information with the Sales Department
• Contacting customers via email or phone to request payment of invoices
• Reconciling balances and verifying payments (including their closures)
• Sending written payment notifications
• Verifying credit notes
• Processing refunds and updating granted discounts 
• Preparing documents related to banking activities

Must-have requirements

• University degree in Economics
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, and credit management
• We’re looking for at least 6 months of experience in similar activities – even if it was through an internship. What matters most to us is your potential, your drive, and your willingness to grow!
• Good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Works well in a team but also independently
• English language skills - at least intermediate level
