We are looking for experienced Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Romania.

Your role:
As Accounting Coordinator you are responsible for managing the entire accounting activity at the local level, ensuring compliance with legislation, financial accuracy and supporting business decisions, ensuring that all economic department processes are implemented and executed in accordance with the law and the Group's policies and practices.
You will be responsible for ensuring complete, accurate and compliant accounting management with local tax legislation and international accounting standards, by efficiently coordinating accounting and financial activities at the local level, by ensuring the accuracy of the requested commercial reports and by coordinating the subordinate team. The role supports the integrity of financial reporting and contributes to strategic decision, by providing accurate and timely information to the company's management and external authorities.
As part of the local management team you will plays a key role in the development and implementation of the local business development plan, providing input into strategic business
growth and improvement decisions, coordinating and supporting the activities of the involved functions.
Main Responsibilities:
· Key role in ensuring the Reporting for consolidation and local management is accurate
· Cooperation with financial services provider , stakeholders and activities
· Supporting financial services providerin delivering the final reporting package and the local Financial Statements of the entities in scope
· Updating financial services provider and business on Statutory and Tax regulations and requirements
· Review of specific balance sheet accounts, based on importance and impacts
· Review and monitoring of business flows
· Review local contracts and agreements, ensuring proper coordination with financial services provider for postings
· Working closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure procedures and process improvements, liaising with local business functions
· Assisting Finance Manager with Budgeting/Quarterly Forecasting/3year strategic plan
· Ad hoc analysis and support to the business
· Local Authority Primary contact
· Local Tax contact for Tax Corporate Dpt. and external consultants, coordinating activities and requests
Must-have requirements:
· University degree in Economics or a related field.
· At least 5 years of proven experience in a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager role.
· In-depth knowledge of the Romanian tax system and local financial regulations.
· Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
· Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
· Professional accounting qualifications such as CECCAR, ACCA, or ACA are considered a strong advantage.
· Highly detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support experienced accounting professionals in a collaborative environment.
