Job Title: Plating & Painting Officer

Location: Bhiwadi, India

 

Your Role

Responsible for managing and monitoring plating and painting operations to ensure product quality, process compliance, and adherence to manufacturing standards. Drive continuous improvement by maintaining process controls and minimizing defects.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare paint recipes accurately as per approved work instructions and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
  • Monitor painting process parameters and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Oversee pre-painting cleaning and surface preparation processes.
  • Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, clean room conditions, and GMP requirements.
  • Ensure proper control of post-painting activities including pre-curing, curing oven temperature, and curing time.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and monitor paint quality parameters including appearance, paint thickness, and adhesion.
  • Identify, analyze, and monitor painting defects and quality issues.
  • Initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in coordination with the Quality team.
  • Maintain process documentation, records, and quality reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance painting quality and process efficiency.

 

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience in Paint Shop Operations, Surface Coating, or Industrial Painting Processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or industrial production environments preferred.

 

 

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of painting processes, paint chemistry, surface preparation, curing processes, and quality control.
  • Experience in paint defect analysis, process monitoring, and corrective actions.
  • Understanding of quality systems, process controls, and manufacturing standards.

 

 

 

 

 

Educational Qualification

  • B.E. in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. in Chemistry.
