GENERAL FUNCTION

Your mission

You will be responsible of inspecting and assembling the lenses in preparation for the different types of AR treatments according to established procedures (SOPs) and apply the treatments according to the indications received and production standards.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday on day shift but may be subject to change depending on operational and business needs, potentially requiring employees to work weekends and holidays as well.

You may need to work different hours in the beginning for training purposes.

Your main challenges

  • Inspecting lenses to ensure that they are optically and cosmetically accurate.
  • Checking lenses and frames to ensure quality standards are met.
  • This includes, completing duties as:
    • Lens marking
    • Lens cleaning
    • Verification of lenses
    • Preparing lenses for coating
    • Preparing finished product for shipping
    • Quality controlling defects in lenses
  • And other duties as required.

Your profile

  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent experience required;
  • Precision and exactness when carrying out manual work, observation skills;
  • Autonomous;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Timeliness;
  • Lift up to 25 lbs, and standing for prolonged periods of time;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Team player;
  • English - spoken and written;
  • French – spoken and written (preferred);
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent experience would be a bonus.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
