About the Role
 We are now looking for a driven and experienced Sport Sales Manager for the Nordic market (Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland). The position should preferably by based in Oslo. If you are a strong leader with a deep interest and knowledge of the sports industry and have a robust network within the industry, this might be the perfect opportunity for you! The role is field & office-based, spending most of the time visiting customers and the sales team in the field across the Nordics. It is a multibrand role covering Oakley, Bliz and potentially other brands in the EssilorLuxottica portfolio.
The job involves attending conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions, including frequent overnight stays away from home.  
 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of sales representatives in the Nordics to achieve sales targets.
  • Actively sell and directly manage top accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for sales, branding, retail marketing, and operations in the Nordic market.
  • Monitor competition and gather current market information.
  • Manage annual commercial contracts, set and achieve targets with top independent customers.
  • Regularly report to the Head of Sport Channel Nordics on performance and future plans.
  • Resolve customer complaints and develop solutions.
  • Manage the Oslo showroom and maximize its opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or similar.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing a sales team.
  • Knowledge and interest in the sports industry.
  • Ability to operate in a global, high-pressure, and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service, client relationship, and territory management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and self-confidence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Full, clean driving license (essential).
  • Excellent presentation skills and motivation for sales.
  • Languages: Norwegian, English.
