We are seeking a dedicated professional to enable sales growth and profitability for our Retail Network. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering key operational initiatives aimed at expanding both new and existing channels. Your focus will be on continuously developing and improving essential operational components, aligning closely with global objectives, and fostering strong internal business relationships.
Reporting into our Senior Operations Support Manager and with support from our Store Operations Support Administrator, this is a unique opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic retail environment. This role offers the chance to travel, including visits to our stores across ANZ, so applicants applying should be open to the occasional travel. As this position also involves communication with our global offices, some calls may be scheduled outside regular business hours. However, we value flexibility and encourage team members to work in ways that support a healthy work-life balance and promote their well-being.
Your responsibilities
- Provide operational support to stores via Service Desk Tickets, emails and Microsoft Teams
- Write and maintain the Store Operating Manual, partnering with cross-functional teams to roll out and embed best-practice operational processes across Retail stores
- Coordinate communication and processes for essential store operations, including stocktaking, store audit reporting, and high season support activities
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that drive positive impacts on store performance
- Facilitate Field Team Committee meetings to gain insights from store teams and field management
- Conduct store visits on a monthly basis to support in operational excellence and compliance
- Ensure operational processes and controls comply with the Trade Practices Act and relevant legislation through liaison with Legal and key stakeholders
- Oversee tasks related to the implementation and upkeep of store operational platforms, including SmartShopper, Smartly & Omnichannel delivery options
- Collaborate closely with local & global eCommerce and international Operations teams to ensure all initiatives are fit for our market
- Assist and support in the planning and execution of engagement events
- Support the training team in creating and delivering content related to operational initiatives and modules
About you
- Tertiary Degree preferred but not essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail management with store operations experience desirable
- Proficiency in retail systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong time-management abilities and prioritisation skills
- Skilled communicator with the ability to manage expectations effectively
- Strong influencing skills to guide stakeholders, demonstrating confidence and proactiveness in interactions with stakeholders of all levels of seniority
- Risk-aware, balancing commercial outcomes with compliance, and committed to continuous self-development
