GENERAL FUNCTION
The Business Planning Manager plans, implements and monitors the internal service structure and key processes based upon future growth expectations, reporting system and program tracking - including sales tools designing, scheduled sales forecasting and budget planning, and special projects and new business partnerships with accounts.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes and forecasts sales targets (volume + distribution) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis for COT.
- Works with all concerned departments for designing, maintaining and monitoring reports and trackers needed for the COT, related to sales, orders, inventory.
- Designs sales tools to maximize sales force impact.
- Tracks and aligns with Finance on channel operating expenses compared to budget expectation on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Facilitates the annual budget process by planning and coordinating the sales directors and cross functional teams to ensure key deliverables and deadlines to VP, Finance are upheld.
- Maintains, analyzes and works with planning on monitoring the COT demand according to sales trends.
- Works with sales ops, warehouse and inventory planning (internally and across subsidiaries) to research and implement channel specific supply chain requirements and streamlining opportunities.
- Works with department head to create account specific proposals and project planning based upon terms and expectations being negotiated. Works with internal resources (management, legal, finance) to evaluate the potential profitability of each project.
- Once executed, monitors performance and profitability on an individual project basis.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree – Business Administration
- 5+ years’ experience in Business Administration, Project management and/or strategy management/consulting
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, yet deliver strong execution
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly identify areas of opportunity, research creative solutions and implement new processes to address
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter with strong initiative and sense of urgency – ability to work within the high expectation of the company, team, clients and license partners
- Ability to solve various types of problems that may involve multiple departments within the company
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Familiarity with SAP, Business Objects
- Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
Pay Range: 120,098.00 - 177,903.20
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
