YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an Intern who will join the HSE Department, which coordinates Health and Safety activities of Group Companies based in Milan.

The figure will have contacts with various Group functions to implement safety-related projects.

The candidate will be asked to support the HSE Manager in carrying out preventive and protective activities to comply with Italian Regulation and Corporate EHS Management System policies and procedures, to collect and monitor KPIs, to prepare and deliver reporting documents.

Dedication, passion for health and safety and strong willingness to gain experience and knowledge of HSE management are key characteristics for this role.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • RISK ASSESSMENT AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES: Support identification of potential safety risks and implementation of relevant preventive measures.
  • LEGAL COMPLIANCE: Support compliance with all applicable safety and environment regulations.
  • SAFETY PROJECTS: Collaboration with various business functions (Maintenance, Training, HR) to identify and implement safety-related projects.
  • INCIDENT MANAGEMENT: Preparation of reports about incident causes and recommendation of solutions to prevent similar events in the future.
  • KPIS MONITORING: Collection and active monitoring of KPIs.
  • REPORTING: Preparation of reporting documents about HSE aspects management.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educational Background in Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques, Safety and Prevention Engineering, Environmental Engineering. Qualification as ASPP/RSPP (Addetto/Responsabile Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione) will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office package.
