Your role 

 

The candidate will join the Global Lens Commercial Catalog team within the Commercial Strategy department.

As a Global Lens Commercial Catalog Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining the global commercial catalog for the Lens category. You will enter and maintain product data, ensuring that product information, commercial structures, and market-facing materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with strategic business priorities across global markets, and your daily job will be key for the smooth functioning of business processes across the organization.

 

The ideal candidate is detailoriented, motivated to learn, and brings a technical mindset.

 

Main responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage and update the lens masterdata catalog in accordance with global strategic guidelines, internal standards and governance, and ensure timely alignment with global initiatives
  • Contribute to the design of new masterdata and assortment strategies, and proactively work for the execution
  • Detect and solve data errors and inconsistencies with a problem solving and proactive approach, ensuring high data quality across systems in the end-to-end flow
  • Seek for new way of working so to minimize low-value activities and participate to evolution projects to bring to life new tools and functionalities
  • Participate to integration projects taking care of new markets onboarding and training, and supporting them during the migration phase
  • Partner with the markets to understand local business cases and specificities, and work with them to identify and execute best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy New Product Introduction in the catalog, taking care of possible changes and impacts on masterdata level and downstream systems
  • Contribute to improvements in data processes and support the adoption of new tools within the data management area

 

Main requirements:

 

  • Educational background in Engineering, Technical Studies, Information Systems, or a lens-related field
  • Hands-on experience in a lens manufacturing laboratory or an ophthalmic technical background is highly valued, as well as experience in any technical/industrial industry
  • Strong willingness to learn masterdata management concepts and tools
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data handling; familiarity with SAP or other data systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to problemsolving
  • Ability to work effectively with teams across different functions and regions
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
  • Proactive, organized and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
