Group Finance Controlling Assessment Day

Are you ready to be part of an incredible journey with EssilorLuxottica? We are seeking motivated talents to join us at HQ Corporate-Milan to participate in our Group Assessment Day dedicated to our Group Finance Controlling Positions.

This engaging and dynamic event will take place on September 17th.

It will feature a variety of activities designed to showcase your strengths and potential.
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in EssilorLuxottica’s world and to meet our Managers and Human Resources team.

 

Your role

 

We are looking for Group Finance Controlling Interns who will support and improve the controlling model and processes to enable better decision making through constructive challenge and support to the business. Main responsibilities are: planning (by month, quarter, year), KPIs and variance analysis, monthly business review with top managers

 

Main responsibilities 

 

  • Participate, supports, coordinates the implementation of the reporting (such as Weekly Sales Report, P&L monthly closing, etc...).
  • Support the improvement and establishment of controlling systems, developing and monitoring business performance metrics (such as Avg. Ticket, Traffic, Conversion Rate, etc...).
  • Act as business partner, providing also ad hoc analysis or reporting.
  • Proactively identify communicate Risk & Opportunities and mitigation plans.
  • Ensures that regional financial statements are accurate, complete and in accordance with corporate requirements, corporate policies and industry practices
  • Implements short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Provides insightful budget information to the Business Leaders to assist in controlling costs and in understanding the financial consequences of every potential course of action
  • Provides substantial support to the periodic country performance reporting and appraisal processes by performing financial analysis, and providing consolidated quality local business decision making materials, to enable effective decision-making and allowing timely interventions by the Top Management
  • Lead the financial planning process for specific banners / markets across sales, margin, markdowns, receipts, and inventory.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts in response to changing trends, sales performance, and market dynamics.
  • Analyze historical and current sales trends to identify risks and opportunities at the division, category, and channel level.
  • Provide actionable insights to support assortment planning, pricing, and promotional strategies.

 

Main requirements

 

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, Engineering and equivalent
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in complex situations
  • Good organizational and communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and time, project-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Salary Package

 

  • 950 Eur Gross per month
  • Meal Vouchers as per company guidelines
