Your role 
 

We are looking for a Digital Integration Planning Intern who will help operating globally across all designated product categories (eyewear, accessories) and is fully involved into the digital integration projects from planning perspective.  This person will support the team for all the demand planning activities associated to one of main e-commerce website in EssilorLuxottica: analysis, forecast validation, assortment management, stock monitoring and KPI review.  The role will be responsible to align the online assortment to off line one and create reporting standards that combine customer experience data with inventory and sales metrics for a holistic review of the opportunities for E-Commerce channel. This role is crucial as connection point between the production and the commercial organization (Merchandising team & Business team). 
The position is also responsible for improving current processes and creating new planning flows and procedures for dedicated and exclusive e-commerce projects.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Planning : 
    • Create and maintain SKU level demand plans to be used in procuring the needed inventory flow from manufacturing till the distribution across the network.
    • Responsible for creating and providing future sales projections, analysis and direction of forecasts to maximize decision making ability during S&OP process.
    • Foster consensus and collaboration in the planning process working with the Business, Product, Marketing and Supply chain teams.
  • Stock monitoring: 
    • Monitor the assortment inventory levels in central and local warehouses to ensure adequate supply maximizing service level as well as identify risk from excess inventory. 
    • Manage the release of new product collection following the stock retro planning and aligning its go live to GTM calendar, collaborating with other teams and/or departments (e.g. Product, Merchandising) to ensure the availability of newly launched products.
  • Reporting: 
    • Monitor sales trends and evaluating forecast through analysis of key performance indicators (KPI), report out KPI results related to assortment and product updates, communicate how the planning strategy is contributing to business goals in reducing costs and finding sales opportuniti
  • Projects: 
    • Being the referring point for frames planning inside the website integration projects, attending the weekly status updates of the project and giving the contribution to make the transformation done within the established timings.

 

Main requirements:o    

  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to drive process improvement
  • Organized state of mind with ability in time management and to coordinate with many teams and plan schedules according to their needs
  • Solid understanding of allocation strategies as it pertains to website fulfillment
  • Outstanding analytical skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
  • An ability to work under pressure and changing environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated. Ability to work well independently and within a multi-functional, multi-campus team.
  • Knowledge of Power BI tool is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
