GENERAL FUNCTION
The Senior Manager Fleet develops strategic plans, and oversees execution of fleet related projects including location planning, store openings, closings, remodels, store maintenance and projects related to the in-store experience. This role is responsible for developing processes with cross functional partners within Luxottica, Retail Host partners and vendors to define and deliver projects within agreed upon financial parameters, scope and service level agreements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and leads execution of the long term strategy and roadmap for store placements to optimize penetration within hosted retail locations in alignment with brand strategy and goals
- Plans and oversees the annual/quarterly/monthly operational execution plans for all store openings, closures, remodels, relocations and maintenance for the brand
- Develop standardized reporting and analysis practices to evaluate the “health” of the fleet and identify opportunities for continued improvement
- Evaluates, prioritizes and leads implementation of projects related to continuously enhancing the physical store experience (design, fixturing, technology, maintenance) to ensure stores are positioned to deliver the best patient and customer experience
- Serves as a primary liaison with host partners, vendors and cross functional leaders to ensure delivery of projects within agreed upon scope, objectives, and financial parameters for each project
- Provide leadership and support to the field to ensure leaders are positioned to execute fleet projects with excellence; addressing issues and questions and building in process improvements for the future
- Responsible for monitoring project progress and reporting to key partners and senior leaders to ensure that projects meet expectations, budgets, and deadlines
- Looks for opportunities to combine multiple projects for greater efficiency and identifies conflicts and inconsistencies
- Maintains open communication with all involved project partners to improve operational needs and minimalize oversight
- Aligns with other departments on projects, prevents and manages associated conflicts
- Resolves post-implementation matters
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years’ experience in retail, project management or other technical discipline
- Experience leading multiple, complex projects
- Ability to lead multiple cross-functional teams and adapts well to change
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Ability to defuse conflicts effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with and oversee team, as well as many levels of management
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Results oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work under high pressure conditions with little to no supervision
- Knowledge of Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Project Management experience within specialty retail operations
- Experience with corporate store operations
- Ability to read and understand architectural documents
Pay Range: - 133,800.37
