GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager of Special Projects is a high-impact strategic leader responsible for planning, managing, and executing cross-functional initiatives that support the organization’s most critical goals. This role partners directly with leadership to drive special initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with company strategy and delivering measurable results.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

  • Provide leadership and support on brand initiatives to ensure the field is positioned to execute with excellence.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with all brand members, and corporate departments to stay informed of new initiatives and business processes.

Execution and Management of Special Projects

  • Manage and execute strategic cross-departmental projects, often involving confidential, high-priority, or time-sensitive initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver project work plans that include clear objectives and timelines; identify needed resources, provide accurate estimate costs, develop timelines/milestones, KPIS, and deliverables. Tracks progress to these work plans and provides regular updates to stakeholders
  • Identify operational challenges and design targeted solutions across business units.
  • Responsibility for providing communication content for all initiatives to the Field Communication Team and stakeholders. This includes developing reports, presentations, and updates for the leadership team, board, and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective working relationships across departments while holding stakeholders accountable
  • Ensure adherence to project success criteria
  • Facilitate project postmortems (Lessons Learned) and document findings and best practices for future project execution
  • Responsibility for development and integrity of all store Policy and Procedures related to initiatives; including Risk Management/Loss Prevention and Inventory partnerships/processes.
  • Respond resourcefully to change; know when to call upon others for different perspectives

Store and Field Leadership Support

  • Support organizational change through implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Provide RMs support and assistance addressing questions, issues, and any crisis that may arise.
  • Represent the voice of the field by maintaining a working knowledge of store operations and execution via quarterly visits to field/stores

Process Improvement

  • Establish processes and tools to efficiently analyze overall effectiveness.
  • Ensure field feedback on all initiatives is captured and incorporated for process improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of project planning and execution
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently
  • Effective time-management & scheduling skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships across all functions / levels
  • Ability to think, formulate & present alternative ways to execute initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel

Pay Range: 119,535.00  - 169,011.00 

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
