JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Workforce Management Manager is responsible for leading the workforce planning, scheduling, forecasting, labor analytics, and workforce management strategy for Pearle Vision. This role provides leadership for workforce management initiatives, ensuring optimal labor utilization, operational efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. The Manager oversees workforce management processes, leads continuous improvement efforts, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the workforce management function, overseeing scheduling, forecasting, labor planning, reporting, and workforce analytics for retail optical stores.
- Develop and execute workforce management strategies that optimize labor spend while maintaining service levels, productivity, and operational excellence.
- Monitor weekly and monthly labor performance against budgets, identify trends and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor model optimization, process simplification, automation, and operational efficiencies.
- Oversee scheduling governance and ensure stores adhere to scheduling standards, timelines, and labor planning best practices.
- Partner with Regional and Store Leadership to improve adoption of workforce planning tools and strengthen workforce management capabilities across the organization.
- Establish workforce management policies, procedures, and governance to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization of workforce management applications, including scheduling, forecasting, timekeeping, attendance, payroll integration, and analytics.
- Collaborate with IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, and other Centers of Excellence to deliver enterprise workforce management initiatives and system enhancements.
- Direct the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights into labor productivity, wage spend, sales, and KPI metrics.
- Ensure workforce management systems operate effectively by overseeing issue resolution, system monitoring, vendor coordination, and continuous application improvements.
- Lead change management efforts, including training strategy, communication plans, and user adoption for new workforce management tools and processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and training materials that support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Present workforce performance, labor trends, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage workforce management projects from planning through implementation, ensuring milestones, budgets, and business objectives are achieved.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration, Business Systems, or related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in workforce analytics
- Strong analytical skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- Experience with UKG or other workforce management solutions including payroll, time and attendance
Pay Range: 102,315.00 - 155,453.40

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
