We Are Looking for an Operations Manager Who Will:

Be responsible for the operational performance of Essilor Philippines on a national level. This includes overseeing laboratory industrial performances (including EHS), as well as global supply chain and distribution. The role reports to the Head of SEA Operations with a dotted line to the General Manager of EPODI.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.

• Lead, motivate, and train teams to achieve performance KPIs.

• Develop, review, and implement SOPs, KPIs, and policies aligned with business objectives.

• Ensure smooth introduction of new products or processes, including necessary equipment and organizational setup.

• Manage CAPEX, including budget planning, ordering, and implementation.

• Drive continuous improvement of work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Prepare and analyze management reports on staffing, workflow, and key performance metrics.

• Identify operational issues and recommend solutions.

• Oversee performance management, including objective setting, team meetings, and employee development plans.

• Gather business needs and provide solutions to support company growth.

• Other tasks as assigned.

Main Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or Manufacturing/Logistics/Production Management.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management.

• Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification with demonstrated application.

• Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.

• High level of integrity and motivation.

• Hands-on approach to management.

• Moderate travel required (approximately 20%).

• Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
