Your role:

The PPC Specialist – International Markets is responsible for the strategic planning and effective management of all Paid Search and Shopping activity for the German, Italian, French & Spanish markets – this involves setting targets and ensuring all KPIs are met. They are responsible for comprehensive analysis and for communicating insights to the wider business.  

 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Performance: Ensuring all Paid Search KPIs are met consistently: ROAS, CPA, revenue 
  • Strategies: Identifying new opportunities and developing new initiatives to exploit these. 
  • Testing: Initiating, reviewing and optimising ad copy, landing pages and bidding strategies – sharing insights with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Forecasting/Pacing: Providing recommendations and ensuring correct budgets/levels of spend. 
  • Technical: Ensuring tech hygiene and accuracy (tagging, business data, feeds etc.) and liaising with Product and Tech team to develop and implement new solutions.  
  • Reporting: Creating comprehensive analysis that can be shared internally and/or externally  
  • Innovation: Keeping up to date with latest trends and developing/testing new methodologies 
  • Personal development: Workload management and mentoring of fellow team members.  
  • Executing additional tasks to meet departmental project-related or development and change objectives. 
  • Ad hoc translations and assisting other members of the Marketing team 
  • Providing cover for markets when other managers are on leave   

 
Main requirements: 

  • Strong knowledge of automated bidding solutions 
  • Fluent in English. German, Italian, French or Spanish would be a bonus. 
  • Running international campaigns 
  • 3+ years hands-on PPC experience (Client-side or Agency) managing complex accounts  
  • Significant experience with ad management platforms (SA360, Marin, Kenshoo etc.)   
  • An ardent follower of the “test, measure, learn” approach  
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, SharePoint, Google Analytics 4, LookerStudio 
  • High level of numeracy and can demonstrate an ability to fully take in and understand data 

 

Desirable: 

  • Degree level qualification in Marketing, Maths or Social Sciences  
  • PPC experience in ecommerce and/or retail
  • Strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders 
  • Self-starter; must be proactive with minimal direction across data analysis and task delivery
