Your Role

As a Store in-charge in our retail store, you will oversee all aspects of store operations; including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered. You will improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership and development of the people in your team. In addition, you will act as an ambassador for the Company ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience.

  

Main responsibilities:

  • Oversee the store’s day-to-day operations. 

  • Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge.

  • Ensure all KPI targets & expectations are delivered. 

  • Ensure costs are kept to a minimum & stock loss is within company guidelines. 

  • Regularly analyze sales performance, maximizing strengths & reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvement. 

  • Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines. 

  • Recruit, lead, motivate and inspire your team to succeed in store as well as support them in developing their careers.

  • Ensuring that the store is always on top of the competition buy being commercial focused. 

  • Manage all legalities & Health & Safety of the business. 

  • Point-of-sale and cash handling including counting, reconcile and cash deposit according to established procedures and security guidelines. 

  • Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders
