Position: Data Analyst & Application Support 

Location: Latkrabang, Bangkok

Mission

Reporting to the GLID Calculation Support Manager, this role is responsible for managing the technical aspects of the Calculation Support Engineer team, providing support and assistance, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer and communication with IT Group and regional zones for all GLID deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Define individual objectives for Calculation Support Engineers.
  • Identify training needs and create action plans to strengthen technical expertise within the team.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities.

Expertise

  • Deliver Level 3 support for calculation applications (problem analysis and corrective patch specifications) in collaboration with IT Group Support (RxDS).
  • Manage corrective evolutions (specifications and validation) in coordination with Zones, RxDS, and GLID development teams.
  • Act as a resource for projects, including pilots and rollouts.

Testing & Package Delivery

  • Improve release processes by reducing manual tasks, enabling faster delivery, minimizing errors, and ensuring smooth operations.

Communication & Training

  • Serve as the primary point of contact in Asia (AEL, APAC, NE, GC) for calculation systems, including release management, evolution deployment, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for Zones IT, RxIT, ZTS, and internal GLID teams.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable managing activities and teams in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and make decisions on non-complex, low-impact topics.
  • Strong coaching and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of data analysis and application support principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database queries and data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for release automation.
  • Understanding of API integration and web services.
  • Ability to work with testing frameworks and manage test environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for application and system issues.
