Position: APAC Inventory Planner
Location: Ladkrabang , Bangkok
Mission
Control and manage local inventories (lenses, frames, etc.) across AMERA subsidiaries to optimize inventory levels and associated costs (replenishment, obsolescence, etc.) while continuously improving service performance.
Support initiatives to reduce obsolescence risks across AMERA subsidiaries.
Responsibilities

Define Min-Max and safety stock levels by product, family, or SKU.

Establish replenishment rules and strategies (frequency, minimum order quantities, suppliers, etc.).

Review forecasts with subsidiary logistics, sales, and marketing teams to capture demand changes and special events.

Calculate and/or release purchase orders to suppliers and follow up on order fulfillment (interface with suppliers and local logistics).

Monitor inventory levels and values, taking proactive actions to prevent shortages or excess stock.

Identify and mitigate obsolescence risks.

Provide regular inventory and KPI reports to management.

Set up Min-Max and safety stock parameters for PO and UHS calculations.

Participate in and support related supply chain projects.

Anticipate potential issues and implement preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with EHS standards and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain management, or 5 years in operations/production.

Strong command of English (written and spoken).

Experience in planning or freight management is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory planning principles.

Strong analytical skills (KPI measurement and analysis).

Customer-focused, action-oriented, and proactive.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.

Demonstrated ability in teamwork, collaboration, and peer motivation.
