Your role

We are looking for Continuous Improvement Supervisor to support our Polyvisi Rama Optik in Indonesia. The Continuous Improvement Supervisor serves as the Head Of Operations - IDN & MY of the lens business, leading it toward growth and profitability through, analysis‌ and reporting. The role requires aligning financial decisions with the strategic objectives of the lens business. You are going to work closely with various departments to provide insights that help shape strategies and resource allocation decisions.

Main responsibilities:

Job Scope:

• Implement LIFE (Essilor lean manufacturing program) to improve operations competitiveness (cost, service, quality) in order to improve the customers and employees satisfaction Report to the top management on the effectiveness of the quality management system and any need for improvement
• Lead end to end LIFE diagnosis be able to drive the relevant improvement actions
• Lead/coordinate lean initiative programs outside production.
• Lead specific workshop in plants in order to create changes and improvements on the floor.
• Participate LIFE steering committee, deliver the own improvement action and be able to address further improvement.
• Organize periodic review with all concerned persons in order to follow up the progress.
• Make sure results are properly consolidated in Balance Score Card, communicated and commented at all levels.
• Support and co-propose the CAPEX plan around production improvement and/or obsolescence management in collaboration with engineers
• Lead and coordinate the maturity lab plan (Rx, EM, Warehouse) and adapt to any changes.

Main requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering/Methods/Production System or related field
• Fluent in English.
• Strong critical and interrogative thinking, problem solving ability.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma will be an advantage
• Having knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies.
• Strong aptitude to multi-task, organizational skills.
• Proactive approach / autonomous
• Leadership capacity, as well as being a team player.
• Aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Knowledge of 6 sigma/lean tools and methodologies would be a plus.
• Goal and results oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office and Google tools. 
• Willing to be placed in Cikarang
