Your role

Turkey is one of the key countries within the EssilorLuxottica Wholesale META region with high growth expectations. The Frames Brand Marketing Manager position has been created with the objective of enhancing the complete frames value proposition within the internal organization as well as to our retail customers and end-consumers.

This role will report to Marketing Director Turkey Frames & Lenses and will be supported by an Assistant Brand Manager.  S/He will be a key support to drive the frames category and to implement the marketing strategies for the market. Moreover, the position will be business focused and hence will work closely with many key stakeholders from business/sales to supply chain/operations teams.

 

Main responsibilities: 

  • Lead the licensed brand portfolio within the Frames Division, driving growth and long-term value creation.
  • Shape the category strategy in partnership with the Marketing Director—defining positioning, distribution, and pricing to achieve ambitious brand targets.
  • Translate global and META guidelines into impactful local marketing plans, ensuring alignment while championing market-specific needs.
  • Deliver compelling trade marketing initiatives including activations, promotions, events, buying days, fairs, and training programs. (Media and social media management will be a minor part of the scope.)
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance, identifying opportunities and implementing corrective actions to maximize results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and other teams to produce accurate monthly and annual forecasts.
  • Prepare insightful performance reviews on a weekly and monthly basis to guide decision-making.
  • Drive successful product launches through well-executed go-to-market strategies for new technologies and innovations.
  • Continuously improve marketing processes, proactively proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and impact.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget by brand, ensuring alignment with company objectives and tracking revisions throughout the year.
  • Provide strategic brand guidance to commercial teams, leveraging field insights to boost sales and strengthen market presence.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Champion collaboration and business focus, working closely with stakeholders—especially sales teams—to deliver results.

 

Main requirements:

 

  • Degree in Marketing or Business.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Marketing Department, preferably with proven working experience as Brand / Category Manager within matrix organizations
  • Able to influence stakeholders, someone who can manage uncertainty, open to challenges and to foster change.
  • Passionate about building brands and activating the marketing mix
  • Can-do attitude with high level of energy and learning aptitude
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Full level of competence / mandatory
  • Fluent English and Turkish
