Our Essilor team in Heidelberg West is seeking an experienced Optical Mechanic or Optical Worker with a strong background in optical edging, fitting, quality control and tinting.

Our team works efficiently and collaboratively to ensure high standards of workmanship, accuracy and customer satisfaction across every order.

Your responsibilities

  • Marking up and blocking optical lenses
  • Edging of optical lenses
  • Fitting variety of lens types such as rimless, nylon, shell and metal frames
  • Tinting
  • Final quality checking of completed fitting jobs.
  • Pre Quality Control and tracing a variety of frame types

 

About you

  • Fine motor skills and ability to handle individual lenses carefully throughout the coating process
  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, proactive, enthusiastic!
