GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for in-depth data analysis within the distribution center environment to identify operational inefficiencies, develop and present data-driven solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to optimize flow, processes, and overall operational performance. Key responsibilities include leveraging data to monitor performance, predict trends, and support strategic decision-making.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze logistics and operational data (distribution, flow, inventory, warehousing, workload) to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement using tools such as Labor Management systems.
  • Develop, manage, and report on KPIs through dashboards and presentations for business reviews.
  • Collaborate with leaders and partners to create develop optimal, cost-effective data management solutions and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Gather requirements for new scorecards, KPIs, and projects.
  • Evaluate productivity/service gaps and lead cross-functional projects for process enhancement.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence on KPIs and data strategies.
  • Identify data trends, propose improvements to leadership, and recommend process changes.
  • Generate and monitor workflows to maximize efficiency within the Distribution Centers.
  • Develop quantitative analyses and solutions with internal/external teams, using reports to influence change.
  • Monitor inventory stock levels, troubleshoot backorders, and support inventory forecasting.
  • Track operations projects and deliverables against timelines ensuring accountability.
  • Develop annual plans for improvement initiatives.
  • Propose and implement solutions for streamlining, cost reduction, and efficiency.
  • Provide analytical and system support for new processes and tools.
  • Develop tools and processes to capture operational metrics.
  • Present weekly KPI reports to leadership.
  • Review operations KPIs (OTIF, service level) and drive improvements.
  • Contribute to strategic goals for efficiency, service, timelines, budget, and resource management in projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, Info Systems, Statistics, or related.
  • 2+ years experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar complex setting.
  • Proven ability to gather, manipulate, and interpret data to solve problems, predict trends, and set priorities.
  • Strong analytical and math skills to draw meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Highly organized and process-focused; able to excel in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with strong self-motivation and team player attitude.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SAP AFS, SAP, PKMS, MS Office planning systems, Alteryx, and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of Access and Visual Basic is a plus.
  • Prior planning knowledge and macro coding experience preferred.
  • Experience with Labor Management (LM) tools.
  • Experience in an international and dynamic environment within a matrixed organization.
