JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Mobile Events Sales Supervisor is responsible for supporting and executing Oakley Retail’s Mobile Store Experience. This role is responsible for supporting events through effective planning and execution prior to, during, and after activations. The Mobile Events Sales Supervisor will lead individual event sales performance, training, customer experience, team leadership, asset management, expense control, and operational execution while ensuring compliance with Oakley brand standards and retail policies.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Events Manager in event communication and coordination across field teams, HQ partners, venues, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Support Events Manager in product logistics, inventory control, and asset protection to ensure event readiness and compliance.
- Oversee credential confirmation, system management, and POS readiness to support operational execution.
- Assigns event staffing, scheduling, and travel oversight, ensuring appropriate labor coverage and budget management.
- Drive customer engagement by delivering experiences aligned with the Oakley brand and in-store standards.
- Provide product training to ensure teams are knowledgeable and sales-ready.
- Maintain accountability for sales performance, POS execution, and product assortment at each event.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring efficiency, safety, and brand presentation.
- Assists Events Manager with the master events calendar and support confirmation of future revenue-generating events.
- Deliver event recaps and support identifying opportunities to improve results.
- Serve as the on-site event leader by setting expectations, tracking performance, and driving accountability, while fostering a fun, inclusive, brand-aligned culture.
- Support identified home stores when not traveling to provide day-to-day store support, including covering management shifts and sales coverage during peak commercial moments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in retail, specialty retail, or managing events and activations.
- Strong organizational skills – critical thinking, time management and prioritizing.
- Strong computer skills including email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong Customer Service Orientation – phone skills, problem solving, follow-up.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, listening and presentation.
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Teamwork – able to work and lead multifunctional teams.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to operate open to close hours of events, primarily occurring during weekends.
- Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical activities include repetitive movements such as standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, stretching, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, reaching, and/or frequently using a stepladder.
- Ability to travel to activations up to 90% of the time while working in a home store or region when not traveling.
