GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Financial Analyst supports manufacturing operations by developing and managing departmental and plant budgets, performing detailed variance analyses on labor, material, and overhead costs, and preparing operational forecasts.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and maintains financial models for forecasting and budgeting, with a strong focus on labor planning.
• Automates and improves reporting and budgeting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Supports month-end close and controlling activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Performs ongoing and ad hoc analysis of Budget/Forecast vs. Actual results and special projects, assessing financial impact.
• Partners with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to support reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
• Prepares management reports for Corporate and senior leadership.
• Manages financial performance for Rx facilities across North America, including labor productivity targets and operational expense monitoring to identify cost-saving opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial, supply chain, or logistics analysis.
• Strong PC skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Solid tactical management skills with strong business acumen and judgment.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and build strong partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business improvements through enhanced analysis and reporting.
• Innovative, hands-on team player with a proactive, “roll-up-the-sleeves” approach.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA and/or CPA.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP and/or Essbase.
• Experience in labor planning and workforce analytics.
• Background in a multi-national or global organization.
