JOB DESCRIPTION
PREMYOM* is an ambitious 5-year project of biomedical innovation for the benefit of young people and eye health. The aim is to bring the therapeutic treatment of myopia into the era of personalization.
Lead partner EssilorLuxottica is guiding the adventure with 5 renowned French partners in the fields of health (Hôpital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild), research (Inria, Institut de la Vision, Institut Mines Télécom) and industry (start-up InSimo), at the crossroads of biology and clinical research, optics and optometry, digital modeling, simulation and AI, embedded devices and advanced materials engineering.
PREMYOM, whose budget is co-funded by the France 2030 national plan, is recruiting talent from all these fields to enrich the community of 55 women and men committed together on a daily basis to preventing the myopia epidemic.

Your role
We are looking for a Partnerships Manager for Research & Innovation in Medtech and Vision Care who will extend the ambition and impact of PREMYOM by establishing and promoting collaborations across various health-related sectors.
Aside from collaborating with internal EssilorLuxottica teams, you will also interact with the PREMYOM consortium (Inria, IMT, Insimo, Institut de la Vision, Hôpital Fondation A. de Rothschild), French and European innovation networks as well as institutional actors in research and health.
Main responsibilities:
- Expanding Project Impact: Extend the ambition and impact of PREMYOM on related subjects and ecosystems by establishing and monitoring collaborations in various medical & technology fields such as pharmaceuticals (combination of treatments, exchanges on patient journey), medical fields (e.g., genetics, epidemiology), and health economics.
- Partnership Opportunities: Explore new partnership opportunities, coordinate the drafting and submission of research and innovation proposals to calls for projects, and seek public funding.
- Project Promotion: Promote the project's results to public authorities and appropriate networks, and their impact within the visual and digital health sectors in France, Europe or beyond.
- Ecosystems Monitoring: Monitor and analyze developments of interest in the relevant environment (medical, regulatory, technical, etc.) to ensure the best positioning and impact of the project.
Main requirements:
- Scientific and technical education, Master of Science / Engineer / PhD.
- Extensive experience in biomedical and e-Health innovation: connected medical devices, clinical studies, health data, certification, etc.
- Good knowledge of the French and European health ecosystems.
- Experience in building partnerships and knowledge of funding and support systems for innovation.
- Good interpersonal, communication and technical writing skills in both French and English.
