Your day as a Procurement Planning Supervisor
This position is responsible to strategically plan, execute, and oversee all activities of material planning & buying, ensuring the achievement of procurement's goals, driving process improvements, and efficiently managing complex assignments.
Materials and Planning Management
■ Lead and manage the creation and continuous update of the stock-item master data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
■ Independently handle and optimize material planning processes, anticipating future needs
■ Manage the entire PR / PO process from initiation to completion, resolving any complex issues or discrepancies proactively.Ensure of the inventory of non-lens materials, consumables and spare parts coverage are adequate to support production and maintenance requirement.
■ Ensure optimal inventory levels for non-lens materials, raw material and consumables to adequately support production requirements, implementing preventative measures against stockouts.
■ Oversee and ensure precise tracking of deliveries in accordance with committed dates, addressing any deviations promptly.
■ Strategically track and manage non-movable items (long aged items) with advanced obsolescence management techniques, minimizing financial impact.
■ Ensure all necessary documentation, such as COA, etc., is complete and compliant with ISO standards, acting as a subject matter expert.
■ Expedite and meticulously follow up on shipments from suppliers to meet tight schedules, resolving any logistical challenges.
■ Conduct thorough checks and control the document accuracy of all shipping documents.■ Ensure all necessary documentation, such as COA, etc., is complete and compliant with ISO standards, acting as a subject matter expert.

Inventory Planning
■ Develop, implement, and continuously optimize minimum and maximum stock levels aligned with strategic targets and dynamic factory requirements.
■ Proactively identify potential stock shortages and long-aged items, implementing advanced strategies and mitigation plans to prevent obsolescence.
■ Prepare and present detailed weekly & monthly Inventory Analysis reports, providing strategic insights and recommendations for improvement.
Customs Clearance
■ Expertly coordinate with suppliers & shipping agents and/or forwarders to ensure seamless, on-time import arrangements while strictly adhering to all compliance regulations.
What do we ask from you?
Required Qualifications (Must have)
■ Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or any other related fields
■ Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement, materials planning and inventory control
■ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools for reporting and planning.
■ Good command of English, both written and spoken.
■ Advanced analytical skills for forecasting, inventory analysis, and obsolescence management.
■ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
■ Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP/MRP and Oracle
■ Understanding of customs clearance procedures and compliance regulations.
■ Ability to work independently and lead process improvements under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications (good to have)
■ Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
■ Gained TOEIC score above 700 or a similar English proficiency test result is preferable.
