Your day as a Process/Production Engineer:
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, efficient, and safe production. This role involves establishing process standards, supporting validation activities, leading improvement projects, and providing technical training to enhance operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish Standards:
■ Develop and implement PCP (Process Control Plans) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure all production adheres to the correct standards.
■ Recommend projects aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, product performance, safety, and ergonomics, including optimizing consumables. Conduct data analysis on quality issues.
Training and Coaching:
■ Provide technical training and coaching to production teams.
■ Offer information and training to EOL (End of Line) Engineers and Supervisors.
Support and Validation:
■ Assist in the validation of products, equipment, and machines.
■ Provide necessary information for proposed improvements. Participate in prototype and pilot production phases.
Process and Material Flow:
■ Support production to improve material and process flow.
Supervision and Management:
■ Oversee and manage technicians or process trainers to ensure effective technology and knowledge transfer.
Project Leadership:
■ Act as a project leader or team member.
■ Organize and conduct project meetings, providing relevant information.
Information Dissemination:
■ Communicate global information to staff effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
■ Engage in continuous improvement activities.
Flow Management:
■ Lead specific projects (e.g., special projects, process improvements, new flows, new customers) and propose enhancements.
■ Maintain a comprehensive view of the flow from a process perspective.
What do we ask from you:
Required Qualifications
■ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
■ 1-5 years of experience as a process engineer or industrial engineer
■ Good in English, able to communicate effectively both written and spoken.
■ Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
■ Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
■ Systematic thinking, good analytics, self-motivation and high responsibility.
Preferable qualifications
■ Technical knowledge of Statistical Process Control and/or troubleshooting is preferable.
■ Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
■ A TOEIC score above 700 or a similar English proficiency test result is preferable.
■ Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen Data analysis
