Your role:
The Trade Marketing Manager is overseeing all trade marketing activities for the business and responsible for local brand development in Morocco. This position also develops and executes marketing strategies to generate interest and demand for our products in the market.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop of differente strategies according to channel of trade (independent clients, top accounts, key accounts, distributors) according to corporate and brand guidelines;
- Responsible for point of sale standardization in terms of brand visibility and presentation quality:
- Responsible for permanent and dedicated space creation inside and in the windows of top quality stores;
- Organize, supervise and coordinate consumer activities and promotions;
- Mapping of the current distribution network and evaluating alternative opportunity;
- Prepare and track trade marketing budget;
- Segmentation of the main client clusters in the assigned market/hub/area;
- Develop, implement and manage of the local trade marketing plan following international guidelines and adapts the plan to the different channels-clients/brands requirements;
- Monitor the main ad-hoc activities in assigned clients;
- Set up a coherent policy for the planning and distribution of the brand point of purchase materials;
- Supervise and follow up of the trade marketing budget allocated at the beginning of the year and monitoring the successive updating and revision phases.
- Regular market visits to evaluate exectuions, identify opportunities and monitor competitor acivities
- Identify & evaluate best practices from similar categories and adapt them to Luxottica business model and opportunities
- Innovate & propose out of the box solutions to be ahead of the competion in a highly competitive market environment
- Develop new vendors to constantly improve the TMKTG products and services to the market
- Hands on approach to help and guide the clients / vendors while working with new campaigns, territories or partners
- Internal alignments with commercial, brand team and higher managements on TMKTG plans and executions
- External aligments with partners and vendors on campaign roll outs and executions
Main requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in a trade marketing, merchandising role with in-store experience.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or similar.
- Ability to take initiatives to drive multiple projects at once as an individual contributor.
- Proficient at establishing relationships, both internally and externally with suppliers and customers.
- Ideally coming from a customer and product oriented industry (cosmetics, FMCG or pharmaceuticals etc).
- This position is field-based with travel expected on a weekly basis. A valid driver's licence is required, and overnight stays in the country are expected from time to time.
- Able to communicate at professional level in Arabic, French and English.
