We are looking for Accounting Coordinator to join our entity in Slovakia.

Your role

We are now looking for a local accounting point of contact for GBS and all other parties. Having the Powers of Attorney and approvals rights based on the management decision.

Main responsibilities:

• Review of local contracts and agreements, ensuring proper coordination with GBS for postings
• Working closely with all GBS Processes to ensure procedures and process improvements, liaising with local business functions – partly (AP, AR)
• AP invoices checks and approval
• Accounting Project management
• Assisting Finance Manager with Budgeting/Forecasting
• Supporting GBS and Controlling on month-end closing process (only AP)
• Key role in guaranteeing local signoffs of documents (where not provided by externals):
• VAT compliance documentation
• Other tasks based on the business needs 

Must-have requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience gained in international fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving and negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure
• Good knowledge in taxation, local regulations and fin statements in accordance with local law
• Project Management/ participation experience
• Being at ease with Excel, knowledge of SAP would be additional benefit
• Very good level of English (it will be your main language of work) and fluency in Slovak
• Educational Background in Economics is preferable
