We are looking for Accounting Coordinator to join our entity in Slovakia.

Your role
We are now looking for a local accounting point of contact for GBS and all other parties. Having the Powers of Attorney and approvals rights based on the management decision.
Main responsibilities:
- Review of local contracts and agreements, ensuring proper coordination with GBS for postings
- Working closely with all GBS Processes to ensure procedures and process improvements, liaising with local business functions – partly (AP, AR)
- AP invoices checks and approval
- Accounting Project management
- Assisting Finance Manager with Budgeting/Forecasting
- Supporting GBS and Controlling on month-end closing process (only AP)
- Key role in guaranteeing local signoffs of documents (where not provided by externals):
- VAT compliance documentation
- Other tasks based on the business needs
Must-have requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting experience gained in international fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving and negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge in taxation, local regulations and fin statements in accordance with local law
- Project Management/ participation experience
- Being at ease with Excel, knowledge of SAP would be additional benefit
- Very good level of English (it will be your main language of work) and fluency in Slovak
- Educational Background in Economics is preferable
