Your Responsibilities:
Line Management
- Leads and drives operations to achieve all goals, initiating necessary actions to meet and exceed various targets.
- Leads production meetings with representatives from Logistics, Engineering, Maintenance, LIFE/CI, and Quality to review performance, track progress on agreed actions, resolve critical line issues, and initiate projects to improve production performance.
- Conducts regular meetings with Shift Leaders/Supervisors to review goal results, define project priorities, and establish action plans to resolve issues/problems.
- Maintains clear visibility and communication with Logistics regarding production constraints to allow for proper production scheduling and loading.
- Provides weekly and monthly updates on goal results with corresponding actions, particularly on metrics not meeting targets.
- Updates the production plan in coordination with the Supply Chain Planner.
- Manages and controls the department's budget, including the management of material consumables, repairs and maintenance, and CAPEX.
- Drives the team to implement cost-saving projects/initiatives that will impact manufacturing variance results.
Quality Management:
- Implements and supports new procedures, Management of Change (MOC), and improvements as required.
- Enforces adherence to documented process control procedures using internal audit tools.
- Drives the Progress Team/APU on continuous improvement projects that will impact quality metrics (e.g., mispack, inspection consistency, and others).
- Works with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to resolve all On-Hold Lot issues.
Safety and Company Policy Management:
- Strictly implements the Company’s Code of Conduct, issues NTEs, and recommends Disciplinary Actions (DA) to subordinates if needed.
- Strictly implements all Safety Policies and Safety Measures as mandated by EH&S and is involved in generating action plans for all Safety audit findings.
- Ensures team compliance with SOPs and EHS training requirements.
- Ensures the 5S program is consistently carried out. Conducts monthly walk-throughs and audits of the production area, reporting and tracking progress on all findings.
- Acts as the emergency response Incident Commander as required by EH&S mandates.
The Portrait of a Perfect Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical sciences preferred.
- 5-10 years' experience in high-volume manufacturing in supervisory/management roles.
- Proficient in office applications.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
- Advantageous to have inventory and cost control management knowledge.
- Understands business operations and market strategies.
- Up-to-date with policies, practices, trends, and technology.
- Results-driven, exceeds goals, and leads effectively.
- Energized by challenges and takes necessary stands.
- Provides clear direction and feedback, especially in crises.
- Sets and monitors clear objectives and responsibilities.
- Addresses issues directly and promptly.
