We are looking for Facilities Section Head who will lead and oversee all facility operations to ensure 100% availability of critical utilities and plant infrastructure. Maintains safe, efficient, and compliant systems in alignment with LLDA/DENR regulations to support uninterrupted lens manufacturing. Drives continuous improvement, optimizes resources, develops team capabilities, and escalates facility concerns to the PH Building, Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Manager for strategic actions.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensures 100% availability of plant utilities and facility equipment supporting lens production.
- Plans and executes preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Provides timely technical support and engineering solutions to internal stakeholders.
- Builds team capability through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manages maintenance expenses, optimize service contracts, and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Implements and monitors sustainability projects on energy, water, air, and nitrogen usage.
- Ensures compliance with EHS standards, environmental regulations, FM Global, and PEZA requirements.
- Addresses audit findings promptly and uphold high housekeeping and safety standards.
Professional Competencies
- Strong expertise in facilities operations, including HVAC, cleanroom systems, utilities, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of ISO cleanroom standards, contamination control, and precision manufacturing.
- Proven leadership in managing engineering/technical teams.
- Project management experience in facility upgrades, expansions, and maintenance programs.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Effective cross‑functional communication.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
Specific Experience Required
- 7–10 years in facilities management, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in optical, semiconductor, or cleanroom‑based manufacturing.
- Hands-on management of cleanroom HVAC, filtration, and environmental controls.
- Proficient with utilities such as DI water, compressed air, and power systems.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in CMMS and building automation systems.
