Our Optical Sales Representative - License Brands role sits within our Professional Solutions team managing accounts across New Zealand. This exciting role is all about growing our License Brands footprint (optical glasses and sunglasses) by bringing on new accounts and servicing existing accounts to ensure these brands are effectively represented in the independent optometry marketplace. Success will see you establishing new accounts to grow our License Brands portfolio, while continuously seeking new business opportunities to develop brand equity. License Brands currently include, but are not limited to, Prada, Coach, Tiffany and Emporio Armani.
 
Your responsibilities 
  • Business development acumen to grow sales through all suitable avenues
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with independent optometrists across New Zealand
  • Assisting with education of staff within your accounts to ensure information about the features of License Brands optical glasses and sunglasses you carry is accurate
  • Ensuring instore marketing and image of License Brands is maintained within all accounts and align with brand guidelines
  • Maintaining and servicing through store visits, phone, email, tech training on all accounts within New Zealand
  • Work with our Marketing team to develop and execute an annual training plan which ensures customer brand, product & sales knowledge supports License Brands positioning
     
About You 
  • Previous experience in a retail/wholesale sales/business development role
  • Being a real 'go-getter', with fresh energy and a passion to drive sales autonomously
  • We're looking for someone who can develop new sell-in strategies and grow the License Brands portfolio in New Zealand
  • Proactive and keen to hit the ground running. We're looking for someone who isn't scared to push boundaries & tackle new opportunities
  • Having the ability to quickly pick-up, build rapport with, maintain and service all existing accounts within New Zealand
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management, both internally within EssilorLuxottica and externally with your client base
  • Valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel within New Zealand, as required. Occasionally to Australia
